CFL Game Predictions for Division Finals
Last Week: 1-1
Calgary at British Columbia
B.C. has home field advantage & a week off to heal, for what it's worth.
Calgary, on the other hand, has the momentum of a convincing win over
Edmonton. B.C.'s last game was a squeaker against the "mighty" Roughriders.
Despite that, B.C. has won the season series against Calgary 3 games
to 1, and, even though the last time these two teams met, Calgary won
14-1, I still have to go with B.C. winning at home. This has all the makings
of a classic game, with the hatred these teams have for each other, from
the head coaches on down. Will Lui Passaglia kick a game winner
near the end of regulation time? Tune in & see! Calgary 28, B.C. 31.
Hamilton at Montreal
I can't remember the last time an eastern final took place in Montreal - was it 1978? '77?
Molson Stadium will be jumpin' as Mike Pringle will try to run against Don Sutherin's tough
defense. Veteran quarterbacking on both sides will make this an interesting duel. Look for
Montreal to be leading by a small margin when Danny McManus marches the 'Cats inside the Als'
20 yard line for a dramatic last-play finish. Will he hit Darrin Flutie in the seam, or will
the Als' DB's break up the pass while the officials neglect to throw a pass-interference call?
Hamilton fans will be livid, but the Alouttes will prevail, finally making it to the show after
a long drought. Hamilton 30, Montreal 34.
